FIND YOUR STYLIST

Every service provider at The Boulevard Hair Company works on a performance-based level system. Our stylists are placed in the levels based on the DEMAND OF THEIR TIME. The level system accomplishes two main goals. The first is to provide a career path of growth and achievement for our team. The second is to provide several options for your various needs. Guests may choose the level that best fits their needs and their budget. The designer’s level is not necessarily related to their competency, creativity, or the years of experience he or she has. This is a common misconception. The training our team receives is aggressive, consistent, innovative, and in-depth. It starts from the moment they are hired and continues through their entire career with us.

At The Boulevard, our service providers achieve promotions based on several factors. These factors include guest satisfaction, guest retention, performance, and education. Once a service provider reaches a certain level, they become an Educator and begin working with an Associate. This enables them to train our next generation of new talent and allows them the opportunity to be more accommodating to the specific needs of our guests, by having a second set of hands.

Below you will find a general explanation of the achievements and characteristics you can expect to find in the various levels of stylists that call our company home:

ARTISTIC & CREATIVE DIRECTORS

These top-level artists have outstanding skills and are considered not only artists but leaders in our industry. With years of teaching and advanced training, and many hours behind the chair, these artists are often educators in our salon, sharing their expert knowledge and serving as the backbone of our hands-on training program. You will see the working partnership between our artistic & creative directors and our Entry-Level Associate Designers, specifically designed to optimize your level of service with integrated education.

MASTER & PREMIER DESIGNERS

Master & Premier Designers wow us with their education, demand, and experience. They have met The Boulevard Hair Co’s standards and have clearly displayed their knowledge and competence in advanced color, design, and finishing. Our artists at these levels have a strong commitment to ongoing education, building our company brand, and seeking out new inspiration.

DESIGNERS

Designers are known for their dedication to enhancing their skills and respectability. Ongoing education is a consistent theme as these stylists commit to doing their best and growing their expertise, all while building on the foundations of principle-based learning.

ASSOCIATE DESIGNER PROGRAM

Entry Level Associate Designers are looking to gain the experience they need while providing excellent guest experiences, services, and styles at a budget-friendly price. They work one-on-one with an artistic or creative director to develop and build their mastery of The Boulevard principles. We encourage you to refer your friends and family to our talented Entry Level Associate Designers as they continue to grow their future.

We understand how challenging it is finding time to spend on yourself. We also understand that your “me time” does not always align with your hair appointments. However, our policy strictly prohibits unsupervised children in the salon. We do take children as clients and love to do so. We just ask that they be scheduled for an appointment separate from your own. In the event you must bring a young child into the salon, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker. Also, young children in carriers/strollers may not be placed near the service areas or held in the lap. We kindly request ONLY those receiving services be present in the service areas. Older children (12+), capable of sitting quietly and unsupervised, may wait in the provided seating area. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing salon experience, it was created with your child’s safety in mind. Our salon is not child proof. Sharp implements, hot styling tools, chemicals and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. The Boulevard Hair Company stylists and staff are dedicated to providing each of our guests with the highest level of services possible.

Salon & Spa appointments are reserved specifically for you, so we ask that you give us 24 hours advanced notice should you need to change or cancel your appointment. All guests are required to reserve their appointments with a credit card during service scheduling. In the event a guest does not provide 4 hours notice of cancellation, the guest’s credit card will be charged the fee determined by the following policy:

A twenty five percent charge (25%) of the scheduled service(s) will be applied to appointments that are cancelled within four hours of the service.

Failure to arrive and/or call for a scheduled service will result in a charge equal to a fifty percent (50%) charge of the scheduled service(s).

If you are not happy then we are not happy. Although we would never sell you something that we didn’t believe in or use ourselves, we realize that everyone has their own preferences. Products purchased at The Boulevard Hair Company may be returned for store credit within 14 days from the date of purchase, when accompanied by a receipt. There are no cash refunds, although a store credit may be applied to either products or services.

We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience at The Boulevard Hair Company. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, we ask that you let us know within 48 hours. It is our desire to correct any service issues and we will be happy to schedule a corrective service within 14 days of your original appointment date. There are no money refunds for any service provided.

Bridal

Simply put, a bridal trial (or bridal preview) is an appointment prior to your wedding day to try out the hair and makeup looks you’ve been looking at! It’s also an opportunity for you to meet your styilst / makeup artist, for you to get to know one another, for you to see how your hair and makeup will look on your wedding day, and give the stylist / makeup artist a chance to explore your hair and face. The bridal trial is separate from your wedding day in that it is treated as a regular hair and makeup appointment, so typically the trial run fee is paid at the conclusion of the appointment.

While not required, we certainly recommend that all brides schedule themselves for a bridal hair and makeup trial. We want your wedding day to be perfect for you and trials help ensure our ability to deliver the hair and makeup you will love.

Hair Extensions

Extensions will not damage your hair if properly cared for and maintained. Hair with hair extensions requires daily care, along with a little extra care on a weekly basis. Inspect your attachments thoroughly to avoid tangled attachments and unnecessary wear on both the extensions and your natural hair.

No one can give an exact amount of days the hair will last. Though with proper care and maintenance, you can typically expect your extensions to last about eight to twelve months. This does require regular “move-up” appointments every six to eight weeks as well as following all guidelines provided to you by your hair extension specialist. The overall life expectancy of your hair extensions depends on the type of attachment and how well you maintain and take care of them, but your extensions and their attachment will last longer if you give a little TLC.
