Our Mission
It is our mission at The Boulevard Hair Company to provide you with the highest degree of customer service in a warm and unique setting. We believe in not only giving you the look that you've come to want, but also the ability to maintain that look long after you leave the salon. We plan to achieve this goal by providing you with an education on the products that we use, and the styling techniques required to achieve that look. We are committed to performing our craft exceptionally well and continually strive to improve ourselves in the areas of education in our skill, both within the salon setting and in the external professional beauty community.
The Salon
The Boulevard Hair Co. is a top-rated hair salon located in St. Louis that's composed of the most talented hair stylists. The salon got its start out of Clayton, MO as Abigail's on Demun. After 5 short years of being in business, Abigail's outgrew its space in Clayton and began looking for a unique space to grow its operations. It was out of this search that The Boulevard was born. As St. Louis' largest salon, we take pride in offering a truly unique salon experience to our guests. But don't be fooled by our size: there is nothing corporate about The Boulevard. We are a locally owned small business that inspires to provide the best possible experience for our guests and our stylists. The owners are operating stylists themselves and know what it takes to make that happen; on top of this, all of our stylists are re-trained every year in specific aspects of the salon industry to ensure consistency. A few of our stylists have even been asked to train industry newcomers across the country through the Summit Salon Business Center!

The Boulevard Hair Company proudly serves the St. Louis community through three conveniently located salons, each offering a unique experience while maintaining our high standards of service and expertise. Our original salon in Webster Groves, located at 8193 Big Bend Blvd, is where our journey began and continues to thrive as a cornerstone of our brand. In 2022, we expanded our reach by opening The Boulevard Luxe in Oakville, at 4579 Chestnut Park Plaza, a location that mirrors the commitment to excellence found in our original salon. Most recently, we've added a new dimension to our portfolio with our Des Peres salon, situated at 11668 Manchester Rd. This location further solidifies our presence in the region, offering the same top-notch hair and medspa services that The Boulevard is known for. Each salon, while distinct in its ambiance and local flavor, shares our overarching commitment to exceptional customer service, ongoing stylist education, and a warm, welcoming environment for all our guests.

Finding a stylist isn't easy. And while every one of our stylists is trained (and retrained) by the best in the business to meet The Boulevard's standard for excellence, we know that there's more to the stylist/client relationship than just skill. At The Boulevard, we believe retail products are an extension of the service you receive from our salon company. You may notice that our team members take the extra time to help educate you about the products we are using and how you can use them at home to recreate that “fresh from the salon look” that so many people have come to love - and that's because we know it matters. At the end of your service, your stylist may recommend a product or series of products based on your hair type and goals. Please know and trust that we will never recommend a product that we don't absolutely believe you need or will benefit from.
